Announcing the Details of the Charity Auction at Christie’s NY.

15 October, 2011

We are proud to announce that the New Day Charity Auction will be held at Christie’s on November 9.

While most people think of auctions as an evening event, New Day will fittingly begin the morning at 9:30 am.
Hollywood actor Ken Watanabe will join us for a special reading of the poem Ame ni mo Makezu by Kenji Miyazawa, making this a fitting event for people wishing to show their support to Japan. The assembled artists include some of the top names in contemporary art and to give everyone a chance to view, we will be holding a preview at Gagosian Gallery from October 26-28. A press call will also be held on October 27. All proceeds generated from this sale by 15 world-class artists will go to organizations assisting with the relief effort.
