On March 13, 2011 we opened New Day with a hand made website. The number of contributed works soon grew too large for the servers of the image collection website Togetter but with the assistance of Pixiv CEO Takanori Katagiri and his programmers, we launched a new, more sophisticated website on April 1, 2011.
As we near the official date of the Christie’s charity auction, we have decided once again to begin the site anew as an information page on the collective activities of the New Day project. With that in mind, we would like to announce, as of this notice, the end of the project’s function as an image contribution service. Despite the short length of time, we are truly grateful for the support we have received from artists around the world. Thank you very much.
We will notify you in the coming days of archive procedures for the works contributed.
